PROJECT BRIEF
Create a brand identity and prototype inpsired by an existing mobile interface.
Nook is an app that allows users to create their own personal reading haven. By allowing them to create their own book collection in the form of shelves, get tailored recommendations, and track their reading statistics, this app encourages users to make a habit of reading. Paper folds, a warm, natural color palette, and bookmarks bring physical book characteristics to a digital app that fosters an immersive reading space.

The logo captures the feeling of being inside one’s own book space with a personable feeling. An organic line quality and rotated letters create a cozy space akin to how books are stored on shelves at home.

USE-CASE SCENARIO: Adding a book to your shelves
A demonstration of adding choosing a book, looking at it’s additional details and reviews, then adding to the shelves of choice. Recent activity can be seen on the user’s profile and reading progress can be updated.
